english ARMANDO ENSEMBLE
From Training to Creation
It brings together artists and collaborators connected through training, artistic development, international exchange, and a shared commitment to creating a diverse repertoire of performances.
The Ensemble originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but exists with the intention of being international and flexible, generating a fluid and constantly evolving collective, rather than a conventional theater company. The artists who make up and will make up the Ensemble have an anchor that unites them: a shared curiosity about the possibilities of performance and a commitment to exploring the performer as a complete instrument, where body, voice, text, movement, imagination, and lived experience are inseparable.
BAVI (actor training) provides one of the Ensemble’s fundamental pillars: a rigorous approach to performer training that seeks to restore physical and vocal sensitivity and expand the artist’s capacity for presence, connection, and expression.
CONSTANT AND INTENSE WORK
Constant research accompanied by constant development is fundamental to the Ensemble. Rigorous training in voice, body, and stage presence.
The individual mission of constant growth, supported by the group’s contribution.
Commitment to the team’s established timelines and objectives.
Discipline as a path to freedom on stage.
Generosity as a foundation for the work of both oneself and the group.
MISSION
At the heart of the Ensemble lies the conviction that all training, even the most profound, is itself part of the process and, as such, is tested through the demands of creating, producing, and performing together.
